These "Online" self portraits are screen shots of people' (friends and acquaintances) profiles on Yahoo 360 Social Network that became quite popular in Iran in 2004-2006. I could not help but think of them as self-portraits of those people who had found a virtual platform to show the side of their character that they would not normally do elsewhere in the restrained "society" they were living in.
